Attach each PYQ to one syllabus line and identify its directive, clauses and expected evidence.
Build the static base
Learn the underlying concept, institution, chronology or mechanism before adding current material.
Add dated evidence
Use government documents and reliable reporting for a current example, while retaining the source and date.
Write and rewrite
Attempt without notes, evaluate the weakest dimension and rewrite one section immediately.
Common preparation mistakes
- Treating the official absence of a topic list as permission for unstructured preparation.
- Memorising introductions that do not fit the chosen topic.
- Adding dimensions without linking them to one central argument.
- Practising only outlines and never completing a two-essay timed simulation.
