About us

UPSC preparation should feel structured, not overwhelming.

UPSC Genie AI is a study-planning, teaching and practice platform for Civil Services aspirants. It is designed to turn a very large syllabus into the next clear lesson, question or revision task.

Page first published and last reviewed: 29 July 2026

Our mission: make high-quality, source-aware UPSC preparation more organised and accessible in English and Hindi—without pretending that technology replaces official notifications, careful reading or a learner’s own judgement.

Plan

Aspirants provide their attempt year, available study time and preparation stage. The app builds a weekly roadmap and adapts it as work is completed.

Teach and practise

Lessons, PYQs, checkpoints, daily current affairs and Mains answer evaluation are connected to the syllabus rather than presented as an unstructured content feed.

Guide

GENIE AI answers study and exam-preparation questions, explains concepts and helps learners decide what to do next.

Show progress

Coverage, practice and consistency signals are turned into a practical readiness view. These indicators support planning; they do not predict an examination result.

Who is responsible for the content?

Public educational pages and daily current-affairs material are published under the UPSC Genie Editorial Team. Automated systems may assist with collection, classification, translation, drafting and formatting. Published material is governed by our source, review and correction controls.

We do not create fake expert profiles, topper endorsements or unverifiable credentials. As named subject editors and reviewers join the project, their genuine roles and relevant experience will be disclosed on this site.

Read our editorial and AI-use policy, content methodology and corrections policy.

Our source approach

Official material comes first: the Union Public Service Commission, the Constitution and legislation, government ministries, regulators, courts, parliamentary material, reports and other primary institutions. Reputable newspapers may be used for current developments and analysis, with the publication identified on the relevant page.

For eligibility, dates, syllabus wording, examination rules and other high-stakes details, the latest UPSC notification is always the final authority.

Independence

UPSC Genie AI is an independent educational product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or operated by UPSC or the Government of India. References to UPSC are descriptive of the examination for which the platform provides preparation support.
